 As Founder and Chief Executive of numerous successful companies, Dr. Dan Briggs brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors to drive innovation and growth across various industries.    

His career has firm roots in public policy and advocacy, a long-held personal passion of his. Dan was a member of the advance team of President George W. Bush during the first US and Russia Summit with Vladimir Putin, held in St. Petersburg, Russia. Dan then oversaw campaigns on behalf of the Governor of California for the Office of Members Services. After relocating to Nevada, he became a Founding Member of the Las Vegas World Affairs Council -- a bipartisan organization dedicated to engaging and educating Americans on international affairs and foreign policy. His desire for public service resulted in him being recruited to run as a candidate for the Nevada State Assembly District 20 in 2008. He lost; Badly. But from those learnings and lessons he launched into his business enterprises.

 Dan, in his personal life, is an active member of his community in Henderson, Nevada. And most importantly he is married with three young sons with whom he enjoys spending his spare time chasing around. 

Dan is the Founder, President & CEO of Auragens, the leading stem cell treatment and research center in the world and located in Panama City, Panama. Spanning the entire 48th floor of the Oceania Business Tower, Auragens has created the world’s premiere research facility and has attracted top PhD’s and MD’s from the Americas and Europe in its pursuit to improve long term care and efficacy and availability of treatments. In addition to leading the Auragens team, Dan sits on the editorial board at The Journal of Stem Cell Research, as well as being a contributing member of The International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR), helping to bring the evidence and awareness to all. 

Dan also formed the federally recognized 501c3 nonprofit, primary care company, The Neighborhood Clinic, where he serves as Chairman and CEO. With locations in Downtown Las Vegas, the Historic Westside, and Pahrump, NV, and in partnership with the Las Vegas Rescue Mission and the City of Las Vegas, The Neighborhood Clinic’s doctors, and nurse practitioners, can see up to 500 underserved and rural patients per day that previously had no access to medical care.  

Along with the medical practices, Dan founded MDX Labs Inc, a CLIA and COLA Certified, high complexity lab network headquartered in Henderson, Nevada. A frontrunner and innovator in the molecular & clinical diagnostics space, MDX was instrumental in making timely testing available across Nevada during the pandemic and was the largest independent lab in the region and recognized as “Top Small Business” and “Best Workplace.”.  During the height of the Pandemic MDX Labs accounted for 15% of all results across the state while handing all overflow from overwhelmed public institutions. 

Additionally, and to further his passion in supporting the community Dan founded and serves as Chairman of FOUNDATIONS, a 501c3 charitable organization, that provides support and donations to charities globally, assisting those in need and breaking down barriers in access to healthcare, with a focus on children and veterans.

"I spend a good deal of my time discussing all of the failures of corporations in healthcare:

The profit driven, publicly traded, insurance companies that prioritize profits over patients, and shareholders over individuals; And Big Pharma who have time and again shown a willingness, even a preference, to put lives at risk and prolong pain, increase addictions, and foster a dependency, rather than cure or at least improve the quality of an individual's life.

It is the abject failure to do the right thing that drove the creation of Auragens, The Neighborhood Clinic, Foundations, and MDX Labs. Knowing there is a better way to treat a patient and better outcomes for an individual and the families who are in need, we set out to prove both.

With Auragens we have shown the ability to treat patients and return a quality of life they were told would never be possible. With treatments, more than half of prescription drugs are no longer needed, and all is done with naturally occurring biologics. With over two decades of studies and evidence of success, short and long term, across a stunningly large spectrum of illness and injury, stem cell treatments can no longer be classified as experimental in any definition of the term. Yet, misinformation continues to persist and Big Pharma continues to post record growth. It is hard for me to believe that is only a coincidence.

With The Neighborhood Clinic we have shown a patient can come first and that the system works when money is allocated to healthcare, rather than CEO bonuses or stock buy backs. One of the largest insurance companies posted a record $22 billion profit in 2022 meanwhile patient outcomes and satisfaction reached an all time low. Unacceptable. 

When operating as a nonprofit the providers are paid a competitive wage, the patients are the priority, and the monies paid are either reinvested into better outcomes or to encourage additional healthcare professionals to further community wellness.

The industry is full of incredible people who are all endeavoring to do the right thing. They fight the same struggles with insurance companies and Big Pharma everyday and come back for more because they refuse to abandon their patients. They are all heroes.

It is for each one of those healthcare professionals and for every patient, potentially every one of us, that we push to be better.
